THE BEAVER
One of Canada's top 100 engineering achievements. I acquired this one as a
result of my airline, Pacific Spirit Air. The airline was growing quickly, and
it was evident that another season of "Cessna only" service just
wouldn't do. After 6 months of searching, I found this perfect specimen. It was
nicely set up for commercial operations with the extended baggage area, larger
side windows, etc. A leasing company was formed, the Beaver purchased, and then
leased back to my airline. Unfortunately, when I sold my airline, the Beaver was
part of the package. It was hard to sell such a great airplane, but, business is
business. The picture below was taken by me from a company Cessna chase plane
just off of Gabriola Island, BC. It also appears in many other photos on this
web page.
