The Company's Response...

The following is an exact transcript of the letter written by the company

TEAM WORK

Last week, one of our B99’s, FQC, had a nose gear problem. The nose gear actuator failed. This was not our maintenance department’s fault it was a faulty actuator from overhaul.

The crew, Lawrence Martel & Chris Holmes did an excellent job of keeping the passengers calm. They then touched down gently on the main gear and rolled to a slow controlled stop on the aircraft nose. Fire crews met the aircraft and myself, Dean, Jason and others looked after the passengers.

After the necessary formalities with Transport, our maintenance team removed the aircraft.

I think our JV team did an excellent job reducing the impact of this in-flight emergency.

This kind of cheerful and skillful teamwork is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Guys!
